In Requisite Evil, a psychological thriller by K.R. Eaton, Lydia's killer tore skin from various parts of her body, and all she could think about was dying. The killer felt as though something was inside him, controlling him. Detective Steve Meadows and Sergeant Dick Dantes were dispatched to the scene of Lydia’s murder. Dick realized it was an act of pure evil, and his team had never looked into a crime of this nature before. While on vacation, FBI Agent Betsy Snelling read about the murder. Betsy showed up at the Chisholm Police Department to offer her assistance on the case. Dick and Betsy had a great working relationship, and soon enough, Dick fell deeply in love. But Steve had suspicions that Betsy was not who she appeared to be and was determined to expose her.

K.R. Eaton's Requisite Evil kept me gripped from beginning to end. This thriller had a lot of action and moved quickly. The first page grabbed my interest, and I had no idea what to anticipate. I was turning the pages as fast as possible, but it was a nerve-wracking experience. The writing was so realistic that I could feel the presence of evil. Most of the characters were just regular people who I could have hung out with. Additionally, other characters were so pure evil that I was astounded by what they were able to do. The plot was expertly thought out and executed. The story was interwoven with themes of evil, murder, torture, hatred, and retaliation. Even with all of the horror and violence, I enjoyed reading this story.
