Revelations (From Dawn to Dusk) by Robert J Hamilton is a science fiction tale that would appeal most to a diverse audience made up of a mix of young adults and adults who enjoy off-planet adventures and who do not mind some violence and mild adult language. Megan Knight’s life is forever changed when she wakes up on a space ship flying away from Earth, but this is just the beginning of Megan’s journey down the rabbit hole. The daughter she thought was dead for the past year is actually alive on the planet Sedna and she finds herself faced with a terrible choice that will decide the fate of her daughter and Earth. When forced to choose between Earth and her daughter, which will Megan Knight choose?

Revelations (From Dawn to Dusk) by Robert J Hamilton is a well-written book with a thought-provoking cover that made me want to crack it open and start reading as soon as I saw it. Typically, apocalypse stories take place on Earth, yet the author ignored typical in order to go for extraordinary. Megan Knight was a character I could connect with on a personal level, which made me want to follow her on her journey. I felt my heart breaking for her as she found everything she thought she knew suddenly changing and she was forced into an impossible situation with an impossible choice to make. Overall, I greatly enjoyed reading this book and I hope the author decides to write more science fiction in the future as he clearly has a talent for it.

Revelations: From Dawn to Dusk by Robert J Hamilton revolves around the trials and difficulties Megan Knight faces as she embarks on another harrowing adventure after being kidnapped by her supposed best friend, Chloe. She is thrown for a loop when she discovers Chloe has been leading two separate lives, one as her friend and confidant, and the second as a member of Dawn of Revelations, a cult that follows a corrupted version of the Christian faith. Angry, betrayed, and helpless, Megan is ready to sacrifice her life to doom her former best friend and prevent the use of foresight knowledge to bring hell on Earth ... that is, until Chloe reveals that her daughter, Zara, is alive and in the Dawn of Revelation’s hands. Now held captive in the cult, Megan is forced to make a choice no one should ever make: the life of her daughter or the lives of the people on earth?

Robert J Hamilton’s tale is a fast-paced page-turner, where every page left me wanting to know more about what Megan plans to do, so as not to sacrifice the life of her daughter or the lives of the people back home. It is clear with each word, sentence, and chapter that this is a labor of sweat, tears, and love. Hamilton did a good job in keeping the interest level high throughout the entire novel and he has created an exciting and gripping book by combining elements of science fiction, action, and adventure. The author’s attention to detail is clear and it throws readers into the midst of the action and emotional drama. Hamilton had all the ingredients needed in creating an engaging plot that left me wanting more with every revelation and trouble that came the characters’ way. It made this book difficult to put down. Revelations: From Dawn to Dusk may be Hamilton’s best book yet.

Revelations is Robert J. Hamilton’s third book in the From Dawn to Dusk science fiction series set in the late 22nd century. Humanity has colonized multiple locations throughout the solar system and developed technology to the point where travel to other galaxies is possible. During one of these missions to the Andromeda galaxy, we acquired advanced technology and knowledge that an alien species will attack our worlds in 2209. As the clock ticks down to impending doom, an extremely powerful religious group based on Sedna, known as the Dawn of Revelations, makes its move to cleanse the earth of sinners and assume ownership of the planet. Inextricably woven into this conflict are Megan Knight, her daughter Zara and her best friend Chloe Matthews, who all become pivotal to the outcome.

Robert J. Hamilton’s Revelations is an engrossing adventure on a truly grand scale. The plot is well constructed and the writing style is very smooth and consistent. I became fully engaged in the story arc and developed a deep empathy for the primary characters, particularly Megan Knight who is made to sacrifice so much in pursuit of her daughter's well-being. In fact, the mastery of Hamilton’s work was such that I even developed strong feelings towards Chloe Matthews that were not simply black or white; her persona was developed in a way that had me hating her at times and feeling sympathy at others. The characters all had this depth, allowing the reader to develop true relationships with these fictional people. This was a very enjoyable read.

Revelations: From Dawn to Dusk is a work of science fiction with a religious twist, penned by author Robert J Hamilton, and forms the third book in the Revelations series. Suitable for and accessible to all readers with only mild graphic content, this adventurous tale of space travel, cult belief systems and colonization centers on Megan Knight. She once thought that her daughter had been murdered by the cult followers of the Dawn of Revelations, but now she learns that the little girl lives, and is actually being raised by them. As the cult forces itself towards the Earth to bring down a punishing apocalypse, Megan must choose her actions carefully to ensure both her own and her daughter’s survival.

This is the final installment of the Revelations Series, and as such it gives a lot of powerful crescendos, epic battles and strategic moments of genius as the characters come together, or fall apart, at the final showdown. One of the things I enjoyed the most was the commitment that author Robert J Hamilton brings to his characters, giving them time to breathe and emote so that we relate to the physical and mental struggles they are going through. The plot is very clever in the way that it utilizes character relationships alongside the zealous belief system of the cult, and this allows Megan to become a thoughtful and powerful heroine when the moment calls for it. Overall, Revelations: From Dawn to Dusk is a stunning end to a complex and highly enjoyable science fiction series.

Revelations: From Dawn to Dusk by Robert J Hamilton is the third book in the Revelations series. Megan thought her daughter was murdered four years ago, but when she finds out that her daughter is alive and being brought up by a cult on a dwarf planet, she knows that she has to do something about it. She was betrayed by her best friend Chloe; she is now being taken away with the Dawn of Revelations. They want to annihilate the Earth and purge it of all the sinners. Megan can join them and see her daughter, or she can somehow try to help the people of Earth and save the lives of billions of people. But it is not easy - if she is caught, the Dawn of Revelations will kill her daughter and her only hope is to find a way to save her daughter and the innocent people of Earth. Can she do it without getting caught?

This was a rather intense novel to read. Although this is the third novel in the series, I had no problem with getting into the story and becoming invested in it. Megan is such a good protagonist, especially for this kind of story. She is zealous, determined and exceptionally strong. She knew she had to take some steps and she very smartly handled it all. I loved the flow of the story. From the very get-go, the author ensured that the reader was ready to strap in and just get ready for the ride. The development was perfect, the characters were incredible and the narrative was powerful. I loved everything about it!
