Selena begins by describing an encounter with someone she admired on the busy streets of New York City. She further defines what a rich relationship is all about using four personal examples from her life, ten crucial types of rich relationships, and the six circles of connections. Selena introduces the concept of rich giving and the three types of givers. She emphasized the consequences that come with making hasty decisions about our relationships with people and how to build trust.
After reading this book, I felt compelled to carry out a positive assessment of all the relationships currently in my life. Beyond the moral lessons I learned from this book, it is a powerful guide and tool for making decisions regarding relationships. The true stories of people and personal experiences shared added to my reading pleasure. It made her writing engaging and relatable. These stories were well organized and excellently paced. Selena Soo’s writing is detailed, straightforward, and easy to comprehend. I loved the assessment questions and worksheets incorporated, as they helped me apply the positive lessons I learned from this author. The quotes featured were inspiring and apt.
