Roman Needs A Bath by S.K. Pu'u is a cute children’s book about a boy named Roman who needs to take a bath but doesn’t want to; he just wants to have fun. His sister explains the important reasons why he needs a bath and eventually Roman agrees, as long as he can play with his boats. He splishes and splashes until he is clean.
Have trouble getting your child to take a bath? Then grab a copy of Roman Needs A Bath by S.K. Pu'u. This book highlights the importance of taking a bath and could influence your child to get into the tub willingly. Most children won't fully understand the reasons for bathing, and this book is a perfect example of how to teach them in a fun way. The illustrations by Potato Sauce are cute and colorful and they have clearly spent time and effort on creating Roman to be an adventurous, fun-loving, relatable character. The dialog is in speech bubbles and is simple to read.
Roman Needs A Bath also focuses on the bond between a brother and sister. It's obvious that Roman looks up to his older sister and enjoys spending time with her, even if that means drenching her with his tidal waves! S.K. Pu'u is an upcoming children's author to look out for. I believe they will achieve great success. I hope to see more of S.K. Pu'u's work in the future and I wish them all the best in their writing journey. Keep up the good work.
