Gordon Carney, his wife Karen, and son Brady were thrilled to move to a new house in a new neighborhood in Hollywood Hills. This spine-chilling page-turner is going to have you hooked, flipping from cover to cover. If you are looking for a horror thriller blended with crime, Bryan Cassiday’s Scream of Silence is a must-read. The macabre tone of the storyline, the ingenious plot twists, and spell-binding cliffhangers had me on the edge of my seat. Adding a tremendous dramatic touch to the scenes, Cassiday brings them to life with colorful evocative depictions. It felt like I was next to the characters in every scene, watching the scenes unfold like watching a classic Hollywood horror movie. Gordon doesn’t know it, but he is playing a hard hand in a gamble with very high stakes. Scream of Silence is fantastic and I loved it. It will have you looking behind you when alone. I would love to see this on the big screen.
