The world is so stressful that even our children are becoming greatly affected. We are all constantly on the run with little time to just relax and embrace the quality of life. Seashell Meditations for Children: The Ten Book Collection by Patricia May is a great condensed book, ideal for your child, especially from ages four to seven. As meditation practices are introduced in chapters like The Stream, The Bean Stalk, Day at the Zoo, Seaside, and Pathways, children have the ability to not only experience beautiful pictures, but they are able to learn words and the practice of meditation. Along with each short story is a picture of a seashell that can enhance your child’s meditative experience, and a QR code that you can scan to provide background music and sounds for their enjoyment while reading.
Seashell Meditations for Children: The Ten Book Collection by Patricia May is a great choice in helping children handle the stressors of life. I really enjoyed reading Seashell Meditations for Children. As parents, we need to instill specific practices early in our children. Patricia has also provided ten reasons why children should embrace meditation - from the quality of sleep and inner peace to decreased aggressiveness. Train up a child in the way that they should proceed and instill happiness and awareness in their lives early.
