Lilah and Val own a record and craft shop in a small, Delaware town. Their main customers are the tourists that seem to fill the streets and shops along the river front.
Being independent and free-willed, they both enjoy life, except Lilah, who has one major hang up.
James who tends bar down the street from their shop. Lately, he has not noticed her, has not talked to her, or even acknowledged she was around.
What did she do wrong? She is bound to find out. James is being sent to Vietnam.
Will he acknowledge her before he leaves? Will he write to her while he is away? Will he come back safe?
This is a great little story that shows love can be found and be held onto through any circumstances, trials, and tribulations. It is slightly spicy and Ideal for a young adult woman; however, I enjoyed it as a older woman.
