JoAnn Wagner's Sir Pigglesworth's Adventure in New York City is sure to become a favorite for many children. Sir Pigglesworth's adventures are sometimes unexpected, and always funny and sweet while you try to anticipate just what he will do next. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade incident is priceless. The artwork throughout the book is well done and appealing to all ages. JoAnn Wagner's story moves at a nice pace, holds your interest, and has great illustrations, all of which are essential for a child's book. Injecting historical details is a nice bonus to an already entertaining story, and offers a whole different dimension to the book.
