Author Biography

Maddie spent five years working for a major weight loss company by day and playing/working at a racquetball club in the evenings.

Her writing career began by writing operations training manuals for both corporate and franchise weight loss centers. Children's books came next, and Maddie has spent the last 12 years in sales of children's books.

It was only natural for Maddie to use her experiences from the weight loss industry and playing racquetball as inspiration for Susan Hunter in her Susan Hunter Mysteries.

Maddie Cochere has written a fascinating book, “Sunshine Hunter.” Susan has a job as a weight loss adviser and also works in the evenings at the gym. She loves racquetball and is quite good at it. She feels she is falling for her new boyfriend, Mick, until she discovers that he is still married. Then comes a trip to Florida where the harassment begins, then attempts on her life, and she has no idea why. She and friend, Darby, are in serious danger. She must find out why to stay alive.

Susan has an extremely handsome new boyfriend, Mick, two great jobs which she loves, and things are looking quite good until she answers the phone, and the woman on the phone wants to speak to her husband, Mick. Susan is crestfallen. When her good friend and next door neighbor asks if she would like to join him on a trip to Florida, she says yes to get away from thinking about Mick. Strange things start happening when they get to Florida, and it looks as if their lives might be in danger. Susan has a suspicion, but can't figure out why this person is trying to cause them so much grief. You can appreciate the fact that she decides to go shopping and buys new clothes, especially some nifty shoes to boost her morale. The plot thickens, and things start happening fast. Enjoy this fantastic book, though you may lose some sleep, as you keep reading to find the answers.
