The Audacious Adventures of Drippy the Dragon is a journey filled with magical creatures and places. Drippy was born with an allergy to air. Little Drippy sniffles and sneezes instead of breathing fire like his fellow dragons, and to add insult to injury, he cannot fly either. Drippy gets tired of being different and runs away from home. While on the run, he meets Leena, a self-proclaimed girl knight on a mission to save the lost princess. The unlikely pair makes a pact to embark on a mission to cure Drippy's allergy and save the princess. Join Drippy and Leena on their quest in The Audacious Adventures of Drippy the Dragon by E. Michael Lunsford.

The Audacious Adventures of Drippy the Dragon highlights the beautiful friendship between Drippy, a dragon, and Leena, a girl knight; two common fantasy epic rivals. Leena has an infectious confidence that eventually rubs off on Drippy, with Drippy’s character development delivering the core message of the story. Sometimes what we view as a weakness might be our greatest strength. E. Michael Lunsford is a brilliant storyteller because he made the book conversational and engaging, and the plot twist at the end is flawlessly delivered. I also loved the creative and funny names of the characters and places mentioned in the story because they added an element of comedy. Finally, the book contains illustrations by Abira Das, and each is perfectly placed at the beginning of every chapter and helps the reader visualize the characters and scenes. I recommend parents and guardians read this book with their children and introduce them to all the fascinating characters in this tale.
