The Complete Jelly Bryce Trilogy by Mike Conti is a compelling compendium of three books about one of the historical personages in US law enforcement, a legendary figure whose life is shrouded in mystery, Delf "Jelly" Bryce. Based on known facts and stories about the protagonist, this book takes the reader into the life of the man born in the Indian Territory of Oklahoma, exploring his early years and following him through his years as a detective and as an FBI agent. Readers meet one of the most dangerous agents of the police and the FBI, a man who is adept with a gun, gifted with incredible shooting and investigation skills, and utterly efficient at what he does.

Mike Conti has created an enthralling tale of a detective, a story that begins with a bang and that grabs the reader, gripping them by the throat and propelling them forward from one fascinating page to the next. Action-packed, this story is a stellar work in police detective stories, and the reader is plunged, head-first, into a world where the line between law and freedom blurs. I couldn’t help but feel like a movie was unfolding in my mind’s eye as I read. It is fast-paced and exhilarating, with the protagonist hemmed into many tight spots. The writing is impeccable and the setting is colorfully depicted, leaving powerful images in the minds of readers. The Complete Jelly Bryce Trilogy is a beautifully crafted work of entertainment, a story that holds the reader in suspense through every page. Delf "Jelly" Bryce is an unconventional character who will take readers to places they wish they never have been, but which are exciting all the same.
