Stephen R. Champi helps the reader better understand the purpose of male and female relationships in his book "The DNA of Gender Relationships." The first chapter deals with the beginning of mankind in various forms that one might believe it could have occurred. There is the discussion of The Big Bang Theory as well as Adam and Eve. Then he moves into the three main components that are in a male-female relationship, which are: love, marriage and sex. There is extensive discussion of these three areas in detail that gives the reader some valuable insight. Next we see the differences in the male - female relationship. While we know there are many differences author Champi gives many detailed descriptions of those and the whys behind them. Next he deals with the 20th century and the various changes that have occurred during this time frame. Some of the things discussed are: The Feminist Movement, The Sexual revolution, The Pill, Abortion, and Gay Rights. There is a summary written to help explain to the reader what is taking place and how to best understand. There is also information concerning the future and what to expect in the coming days ahead. Then last but not least he includes a bibliography that helps the reader find additional resources should they need to do further study.
While I didn't agree personally with everything the author presented, I certainly did enjoy reading his material and learning new information. This is a very well written book, even though short in content. I appreciated the hard work of the author and look forward to additional resources as time permits.
