This was, as in the title, an enchanting story. The author created a capturing story for young readers. I have 2 children and they were caught by the author's writing and the illustrations of the book. I read this story aloud to them more than once and each time it never failed to captivate them.

The story line for this book is a precious one. A little boy who makes a rope of wildflowers and tosses it toward the sky, where his mommy went when she died, and when it sticks to a tree, he climbs that enchanted rope to enter a whole new world....his mommy's world. (Let me just say this, this mommy cried reading this story!)

The author was fabulous, taking a sad, tragic event and turning it into an entertaining lesson for children. Very captivating and colorful, this book would be wonderful for anyone with young children.

I have to agree it is a great book for children since it explores a tough subject but brings hope into the hearts of readers.
