In a very interesting, suspenseful and fulfilling climax to the excellent The Inner Society trilogy, The Induction by Melinda Louise Bohannon is a book that will grab readers from the very start and will keep them obsessively reading throughout. This wraps up the story of Maggie Krause, who has realized that by marrying Peter, she has now become a member of The Inner Society, the exclusive and wealthy group of individuals that wield a great deal of power in Norfolk, Virginia. As part of the group, she will now have to go through a terrifying induction process, and must prove her loyalty or face the consequences. And when Maggie finds that the I.S. has been secretly vaccinating its own members in preparation for a biological attack they themselves intend to perpetuate, she's not sure she can stay quiet much longer. Will Maggie survive her induction to save humankind? You'll need to read the book to find out!

I very much enjoyed The Induction. Author Melinda Louise Bohannon has done a great job in creating characters that her readers will relate to, connect with and will truly come to care about, thinking of them long after the story is complete. If that isn't a hallmark of a great author, I'm not sure what is. And her ability to write an exciting and thrilling story with a strong Christian message is simply second to none. Any reader who likes exciting stories with a Christian theme should absolutely read this book. I highly recommend The Induction, and I look forward to reading more from the obviously talented author, Melinda Louise Bohannon, as soon as I possibly can!
