The Moon's Missing Stars (Dreamscapes, Journeys of the Imagination) is a children’s book by Tsvika Ben-Porat that tells the story of Luna the Moon and her exciting adventure while searching for her beloved stars in the sky. One night, Luna noticed it was darker than usual, and that some of the stars, her faithful friends, had suddenly disappeared from the sky. As she was worried about her beloved stars, she decided to find them, no matter what. Luna the Moon was determined to find all of them so that the sky wouldn’t miss a star ever again. She quickly packed her shiny moon bag and set out on a journey around the whole sky and beyond to find the mischievous little stars.
Written by Tsvika Ben-Porat, The Moon’s Missing Stars guides young readers through some of the most amazing and imaginative stops around the universe, like the Milky Way Cafe, or the Comet’s Tail, and some that might be quite familiar to everyone, like the Asteroid Belt or Saturn’s Rings. It is a colorful journey of a lifetime in which the Moon and the stars play the wonderful role of guides through the sky and space – and who wouldn’t want to go on an adventure like this one? Tsvika Ben-Porat writes eloquently and with a sprinkle of magic to create an exciting and informative adventure in Luna the Moon’s travels across the universe. I am sure this book will appeal to children and parents alike.
