The Pajama Party is a children's picture book written by Geeta Pherwani. The story starts with a small pajama called Baby Blue. Every night, the pajamas would come to life and have a pajama party, which Baby Blue enjoyed immensely! But before the next day would start, Baby Blue would hide in a new place to avoid being found and bought, because he liked the shop so much. However, a young boy called Noah eventually wanted to purchase Baby Blue, and Baby Blue was very upset as he did not want to leave the shop and his pajama friends behind. Not to mention the pajama parties! Join Baby Blue on an adventure in discovering a different world outside the pajama shop, as he learns that the outside world is not a bad place after all. Who knew that changes could be this great!

Adapting to change can be a challenge for adults, but it poses a bigger challenge to young children who are unable to comprehend situations as well. Change can be a scary experience, but Geeta Pherwani manages to showcase that it can be an exciting journey in the story of The Pajama Party. This book also shows that it is okay to be scared of the unknown, while also emphasizing the importance of trying new things and learning to accept changes that come our way. I would recommend this book to young children who are afraid of the changes that happen in their life, such as moving to a new house or even to a new country!
