Adam's love for animals started at a very young age. His adoptive parents took little notice of this unusual habit for a child until they became witness to a series of rather interesting escapades the little boy had with wild animals. Now a fully grown man, he has taken his childhood love to a whole new level as he uses his inheritance from his birth parents to fund a wildlife sanctuary. What the young man is unaware of is that there is a much more sinister origin to his love of animals. Beneath that love is a centuries-old curse that intends to make Adam its next victim in The Quest For Happiness by Andrews.
Another take on a well-known folktale is presented in The Quest For Happiness by Andrews. Unlike the typical werewolf story where you are inundated with horrific sequences coated in blood and gore, author Andrews has opted for a more refined approach. The storyline is simple enough for any reader to understand in its entirety and the details surrounding Adam's transformation have been broken down into scientific terms that will appeal to those who prefer a realistic-sounding story. The icing on the cake in this particular story is the romantic subplot revolving around Adam and Kate which is brought to the reader's attention courtesy of some impressively detailed storytelling. Simplicity and relatable banter between the characters elevate The Quest For Happiness from just another lycan-oriented adventure to a realistic romance novel.
