Stuart J. Green’s The Regenerate Leap is a unique book that addresses the moment of disruption, when the “normal” we have been used to is disrupted in business and in personal life. For most people, disruption can be the end of the road, but a crisis must not be an endpoint, and this book shows readers, business owners, and people facing personal crisis how to find the tools to relaunch even better. This book answers the question: How can one use a crisis as a catalyst for growth? The author uses the tragic loss of his wife in 2017 to inspire readers, writing about his experience from devastation to renewal while taking care of three children. He shares the REGENERATE framework, which is a tool to lead anyone going through a crisis on a journey from shock to growth.

The Regenerate Leap gave me eye-opening lessons, and it resonated because the author writes about an experience that is similar to what I have been through. Many people have suffered losses and always want to bounce back, but they never know how to do so. This book provides the guide they need to not only manage a crisis but to use it to grow even stronger. Leaders who navigate organizational change will find a lot of wisdom in this book, and I enjoyed the way the author talks about psychological flexibility and systems thinking. Stuart J. Green offers tools that you will need to rise out of the rubble of disruption, and these include the Micro-Win Ladder for restoring agency, the tools for energy management, the Flex-Flow Framework for adaptive strength, and many others. The book features questions for reflection, daily exercises, and assessments designed to measure growth. I finished this book with the conviction that its knowledge has the potential to help anyone make life-altering decisions.
