Ever since she arrived home from Totoba, Virginia hasn’t been able to forget the experience she had. Of course the experience isn’t complete and all she seems to remember is a man named Nick and some strange times at a pavilion. For three years she’s been captivated by Totoba and can’t seem to keep herself from being drawn to it. When she finally manages to return, she is drawn to find the man from her dreams. She’s lucky enough to find him, but when she does things are not quite as she remembered. Something has changed in Totoba and something has definitely changed with Nick. She’s determined to have a great time with Nick, but when the truth comes out will she be able to actually stay with him the way he wants? You’ll find out in The Revival by Maggie Allen.

After reading the first book in this series, I wanted to learn even more about Virginia, Nick and Totoba as well. I was amazed at how much the story continues in this book. There’s so much left to understand with the characters. Virginia meets a lot of new people who are very interesting and the story is written in a way that makes you keen to learn more. I’m going to be reading the third book in the series because I can’t wait to see how the whole thing is going to end. There’s plenty more still to go and Virginia isn’t going to let any of it happen without her in The Revival by Maggie Allen.
