When his daughter was twenty-two years old, James I. Bond realized that he really didn’t know his daughter at all. This prompted him to start The Father-Daughter project and to put this book together. James Bond interviewed 101 fathers about their relationship with their daughters, and compiled their stories in this book, “The Secret Life of Fathers.” These stories came from all over the United States and from fathers of all ages, all walks of life, every race and economic situation. You will surely be amazed at what these fathers reveal about their relationship they have with their own daughters, whether it is good or not so good.

How is your relationship with your daughter, dad? Do you understand when she suddenly wants a room of her own, or stay up late and sleep all day? How about a few years earlier when she was going through those wonderful, stubborn and terrible twos? Or maybe when situations happen such as a divorce, or when your daughter is now interested in boys, or maybe your daughter is now married, is she still ‘Daddy’s Little Girl?’ This is just the tip of the iceberg of what you will find in this wonderful book, “The Secret Life of Fathers.” My dad and I had a wonderful relationship, and even though he is now in Heaven, I really enjoyed reading this book because it helps me to understand my dad and our relationship even more. This valuable book is so awesome that it is impossible to do more than touch the surface of the information included in a review. I highly recommend this book for all fathers and daughters to read. You will really be glad and I am sure your relationship will never be the same.
