The Sister of My Sister by DC Eastman centers around Raven Mills, a woman who goes face-to-face against a formidable and affluent family. Raven works as a barkeeper in a small pub named The Rusty Nail. After a violent altercation between Sean Gallagher (the son of a wealthy businessman) and his friend, Toby, Raven needs the assistance of Ethan Cole, a tenacious attorney, to keep her out of prison. Ethan and his psychologist buddy, Dr. Shaw, are committed to giving their clients the best professional representation they deserve. However, in light of the recent disappearance of numerous young women in their town, including Raven's friend, Sofia Morales, each character's true intentions slowly emerge. The saying, "You can't judge a book by its cover," rings true. This novel is one thriller you'll certainly want to add to your reading list today.
DC Eastman's The Sister of My Sister is a captivating suspense thriller that will take you on a heart-racing journey filled with shocking reveals and intense suspense. At its core is a resilient female protagonist who will win your affection and ensure you are fascinated from beginning to end. Eastman skillfully refrains from disclosing climactic details while keeping readers in this riveting thriller alongside its characters. The novel is filled with several well-timed plot twists and a gradual awareness that multiple characters have startling secrets they desperately attempt to hide. From the first chapter, I was hooked and couldn't put this book down until I reached the end. If you want a compelling tale overflowing with mystery, danger, and intrigue, this novel is a wholehearted recommendation. It is absolutely worth the read!
