The Immortals. The Wares. The world of the undead. Those without a soul. The mind-benders - very special new kind of vampires with a powerful and wonderful gift able to read the thoughts of others and bend their will to them. This encompasses the lives of the vampires and in the battle between good and evil, the immortals struggle amongst themselves to weed out the tainted ones. The tainted blood like their own but that has become infected through the power of The Evil Ones. The Society was established to keep and thenceforth balance and maintain the power between the conflicting and fighting groups in and around the small town of Jackson Station, Anywhere USA. This and thus forth, lies the premise of author Charity Parkerson’s supernatural romance book "The Society of Sinners". A series of romantic stories about couples and friends whose lives intersect one another with the added bonus of them being vampires and wares coming together for a common goal.
I really enjoyed reading author Charity Parkerson’s supernatural vampire steamy romance story "The Society of Sinners". I liked how she develops and sets each of the four main couples in different books in the chapters but still had each of the characters intermingle and become intertwined in each other's lives. In some ways, it was as if I were reading four different books that were written to stand separate, but needed to be woven together in order for the stories to flow. And with each new introduction of another couple and character, I was always surprised in the end to see how each of the preceding chapters and couples were involved in each other's lives. Four different couples, all become friends, and all drawn together by fate. Soul mates brought together by destiny. Each with their own unique powers. Each with the will and the desire to have good overcome evil. I strongly recommend reading Charity Parkerson’s book "The Society of Sinners" for anyone who absolutely loves the power of romance and the theory of finding that special one that you were just meant to be with. And not only will you be able to read about the romance you hold so dearly, you will also find adventure in the supernatural backdrop of the otherworldly realm of vampires.
