The Spiritual Prism by Mikhail Ikpoma is a daily devotional that gives the reader two or three sentences of inspiration each day. I assume the author wants you to read each sentence in the morning, although some of the statements sounded to me like they should be read aloud. I can see readers reading each statement aloud each morning as a way to start off the day prayerfully and spiritually. Sometimes the statements are a little longer, like a short paragraph, but most are three sentences or so and won't take more than five minutes each morning to read or say aloud.

I read this book in a much quicker fashion for review purposes so I may not have gotten as much out of it as the author intended. I read from start to finish, but any ordinary reader would pause after each statement and reflect on the day's reading. I did try to digest each statement and reflect on it in some way, to understand the message taught or the idea that the author was trying to impart to the reader. Having the whole day to ponder on the reading would really benefit a reader because that is where some of the learning process takes place. I believe any reader looking for a daily devotion or a book on spiritual guidance will find this interesting and helpful because of the insightful sentences and uplifting passages within its pages. Readers will appreciate these encouraging statements as a fresh way to start each morning
