John T. Stapleton was born and raised within a family of Cops in Brooklyn, New York. He opted out of the family business and attended the High School Of Art And Design and continued on to receive his BFA at The School Of Visual Arts where he also won the prestigious "DustyAward" for excellence in screenwriting.
While in his first year at SVA he wrote the children's book "The Littlest Mermaid" published by The McClanahan Book Company. Stapleton quickly jetted off to Los Angeles and stumbled into a fascinating career as a celebrity make-up artist which has taken him around the world.
Stapleton continues to write scripts and produce rarely-viewed independent projects, while still painting the faces of glamorous and often un-glamorous celebrities.

On a last minute whim, she was asked by Peter McCarthy to sing on remake of "The Brady Bunch" theme song for Kenya Ivory Wayan's cult classic "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka." Time travel has a new twist in The Sprocketeers: Great Giza Gonzo. John Stapleton and Sundae create a new kind of historical fiction for kids that explores time travel to ancient Egypt and the pyramids. When the twins, Cooper and Alyx Sprocket, discover an old box in the attic, they can’t help trying to figure out how to open it. Their dad, Clark, tells them that it is impossible, but they are determined to see what’s inside. With the help of their robotic spider, Rivet, they unlock the box and climb inside. What they don’t know is that the box is actually a time machine that is ready to take them on a mission. They arrive in Egypt just in time to help prevent their neighbor, Oswald Pennytinker and his dog Scrap, from attempting to steal the treasure of the pyramids. With the help of Akiiki, an Egyptian boy who sees their box falling from the sky, they are quick to take on their mission. Will Pennytinker get away with the treasure or will the twins be able to stop him?
John Stapleton and Sundae have written a humorous and exciting adventure into the past in The Sprocketeers: Great Giza Gonzo. The first of the series starts off with a bang and promises to thrill young readers as the creators of this fun adventure continue to use puns and twisted humor in a way that keeps the action light-hearted. The illustrations are masterful and extremely colorful, adding a great deal to a quality story.
