The Parnell`s, Rory, Frank, Dan, Monica, Carla and Ashley, are in for a very rude awakening. Their billionaire dad, Paul, has just passed away and they all expect big money pronto....NOT! Before any of them get any money, they have to pass "THE TEST." He has his reasons, you’ll see why.

Who remembers Peyton Place and Dynasty? Just like they had their big up`s and big down’s, so do the Parnell`s. When I say down`s, I mean down`s in a big way; don`t want to give away the plot.

Dr Gussin`s 'The Test' is a very different book. I have never read anything like it. If you love soap operas, you`ll love "The Test". It reads like an action-packed soap opera on Ritalin. The characters are very well-defined. The story picks up speed during the last half of the book; there were a few times when I forced myself to go to bed.

Dr Gussin is an excellent writer with a detailed eye for syntax and language. She and or her editors did a super job. I read word for word and it is very rare that I ever read a book with no errors in spelling or grammar. This book had none! I take my hat off to Patricia Gussin and say, Thank you; job well done!"
