Crabtree offers thanks to his mother and dad in Parents. He recognizes the sacrifices they made for him. He acknowledges the way they stood behind him. “And my life, the person I have become, is your only reward.”

What Desires speaks of intimacy, of the physical act of love. Not Me is rather sad. It speaks to rejection by someone he loves. In I Am the author offers himself as a lover. He tells the world how he would cherish a woman that returns his love.

B. Michael Crabtree writes poetry in a manner that is easy to understand, the words may seem simple yet they reveal his deepest emotions. I like poetry that is simple to understand. Crabtree’s The Thoughts Of A Southern Stranger fits that criteria. He shares his feelings concerning war, terrorist, and his faith. Fans of poetry will enjoy The Thoughts Of A Southern Stranger.
