There's a Stinky Monster Inside My Shoes, written by Melissa Diane Hudson, is a funny picture book for young children. A boy named Curtis struggles with a monster living in his shoes. The monster squeezes his toes and causes a nasty stench! The other kids at school pick on Curtis and say "they smell like cottage cheese" which leaves Curtis feeling sad and frustrated at the stinky monster. When Curtis returns home from school, a surprise is waiting for him. A brand new pair of running shoes! Finally, Curtis is free of the stinky monster and can have nice smelling feet for once. If you have a child who is complaining of their own stinky shoe monster, then maybe it's time for a new pair. Grab a copy of There's a Stinky Monster Inside My Shoes, and let your child defeat the stench.
There's a Stinky Monster Inside My Shoes is a funny and imaginative book that will have children laughing their socks off. The author Melissa Diane Hudson has done an amazing job at creating a silly book for children that will show them how to recognize whether or not they have outgrown their current shoes, which will also prove to be useful for parents as it can be hard to keep up with their on-going growth spurts. The illustrations are fun and creative and my favorite was the stinky monster. I hope Melissa Diane Hudson keeps creating books like these so more children can enjoy them as I did. Congrats on the book. I hope to see more in the future.
