Time Waver by Daniel Doan is the story of a boy who received a gift that seems to be the best thing that could happen to someone: a watch that gives you the ability to travel back in time, with the limit of travelling back three days. And there's a little side effect: for every second you travel back in time, you lose three minutes of your own lifetime. So travelling back just ten seconds would cost you half an hour of your life. Blake thinks this is a small price to pay for winning a successful life - but will the magic watch really turn his life into a wonderful life?

I enjoy time travelling stories. Time Waver by Daniel Doan was a bit unusual as Blake could only travel back three days at a time (and then had to wait that amount of time before he could travel again). Right from the beginning, you get thinking about what you would use this watch for or if you would even use it. The end of the book will definitely show you that some things in life might better be left the way they are. There is a powerful message hidden inside the book, and at the same time it is also a very entertaining and well-written story. Blake does a few questionable things with his power which didn't turn him into one of my favourite characters. However, he got the end he deserved ... in the end.
