The hours are long and taxing for an intern in emergency medicine. Working around the clock to tend to every possible illness or injury, Tori Taggert is learning the ropes in the stress-filled career of which she has always dreamed in Touch and Gone by Dr. Jennifer Hanes. While Tori is feeling the pressure to not only keep up with the boys, but to outdo them, she is suddenly noticed by the Chief of Trauma Surgery and hospital heartthrob, Dr. Jack Forester - and it isn’t just because of her knowledge of medicine. As Jack helps Tori navigate her career, he also navigates his way into her heart. Under his steamy influence, she is beginning to learn new things about herself; including exactly how steamed up it can get with his touch. The problem she is facing, however, is not knowing if it is real. Because of the way shifts work in a hospital and the fact that attending physicians are not supposed to be fraternizing with residents, things have to be kept secret and the fast paced action with Dr. Forester has her confused. Is it real? Can she trust what is going on inside of her? Curing broken hearts is much more difficult than breaking them, but which course is she on?

The pace of the trauma center of a hospital emergency department can’t compete with the steamy action with which Dr. Jennifer Hanes heats up the action in Touch and Gone. The fast pace of residency is combined with an intense romantic interlude in a way that will have the reader gasping for breath. Tantalizing, compelling, and steamy; Touch and Gone is sure to not only stimulate the lymphatic system, but quicken its readers’ heart rates too.
