Back in Romania, Ilena learns that there's a dragon that seeks a new rider, and of the many that will try to bond with it, only one will succeed; the rest will die. Now her former lover is the Devil's hunter, and everything about him is different. But when a confrontation between a dragon and the Devil takes place, setting in motion a chain of shocking events, lies, deceit, manipulation, and dark truths are exposed. Ilena and her former lover are about to find out what the Devil had in store for them all along.
Tribute by C.S. Kading and Tony Fuentes is a truly gripping, unique, and intense story. I highly enjoyed its plot, packed with Romanian folklore, a dark academia atmosphere, spice, and suspense. I didn't want to put it down, and I wanted more of it. What amazed me the most was that Ilena and Alexi proved stronger and fiercer than I expected, and the way the story ended. I highly recommend it to all dark fantasy, love story, or adult fantasy romance fans. It's a must-read, with incredible, strong characters, action, forbidden magic, betrayal, a second-chance romance, dragon lore, emotional depth, and more.
