A book that aims to guide anyone who reads it and help them re-affirm their faith or just strengthen it further, Walking in Freedom! A Thirty-day Devotional Journey for Women by Rhovonda L. Brown is a precious read that should be included in everyone's bookshelves.

Structured specifically for women to have a takeaway at every chapter, the book is almost like a sentient guide that will help you get through the day for the first thirty days and hopefully beyond that. From common hurdles that everyone feels from time to time such as fear that things in your life are changing rapidly without your control; to the constant demands of everyday life.

But apart from the book being reflective, what I liked about it are the questions in every chapter to make you reflect as well. It makes it more interactive and makes it also a good book to share with friends and read together. This is why I highly recommend this book not only for private reading but as gift to friends to bond over. Not only will this strengthen your faith, but it will also strengthen your friendships as well.

Well-written from the first page to the last, the inspirational devotional was just what I was looking for. I love the author's positive attitude and ability to look on the bright side. I heard these devotionals are being read all over the world and I definitely understand why. I've also heard she has a devotional coming out about Thanksgiving and prayer and I can't wait to read them!

I gratefully was selected to receive this lovely book for free through Goodreads First Reads. This is a fantastic read for any soul embarking on a spiritual journey. Also found that it will speak to those who have meandered along the way, (such as myself), and found that it was a renewal and reawakening of sorts. I found that the activities in the book helped me personally and would recommend that one actively try to do them to get the full experience of this book.

Day 16:Fear. As I was getting ready for my procedure on last Monday, I heard the doctor say take another X-ray. The doctor said part of the catheter has broken off and lodged in your heart. Fear: Oh Lord, I'm going to have to have open heart surgery. The doctor said, no I'm just going to go thru your neck and lasso it out. I remembered in reading day sixteen if you became fearful you don't trust God. I immediately regained my trust and all was well! Walking In Freedom: 30 Day Devotional.

I love my devotional thus far on day 5. Also, the tributes are beautiful. They made me cry. I could hear you talking to each one...hubby, kiddos and daddy. Simply perfect!!!! More than that it is causing me to make time to listen to God and not always do the talking.

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!! I must say the first book is one of my favorites! Honestly it is. I am very big on reading devotional/self-help books (my dad introduced me to such reading at the age of 14. If he did nothing else, he encouraged me to read such books as yours.) I am proud to be your sister/sister-in-law and proud of your great achievements. Keep sharing! It is helping and enlightening many. Much love.
