Whacking Happiness: A How-To Guide by JD Lovil is an uplifting book which gives excellent tips, techniques and advice for finding happiness. Happiness is not an emotion, it's a state of mind and, as the book progresses, the author throws more light for those readers who are having trouble finding happiness in their lives. The book also speaks about the three categories that determine the progress of a human being towards happiness. The book is all about the journey from where one currently is to a state of happiness. It also motivates readers to build a healthy life around them and also build some happiness.

I found the topic interesting and inspirational. The author discusses the topic of finding happiness extensively and helps readers to analyze what happiness means and work towards achieving it. Readers are given an idea of the basics of what makes happiness and how to put the pieces together to find fulfillment in the pursuit of happiness. The techniques are easy to incorporate into one's life and also easy to practice. The writing style is simple and elegant and takes readers right into the book and makes them look at their lives and what can make them a happy and successful person.

It's a good book for all those readers who are willing to try out and explore new ideas and concepts and weave these into their daily lives to produce excellent results. The techniques of day-dreaming, meditation, visualization and self-hypnosis will help readers to move towards the more physical aspect of achieving their goals.
