When It Comes to Spooning, I'm a Fork is a book by humorist and screenwriter Marc Prey, a collection of short stories inspired by the author’s life, on the topic of relationships between men and women. From dating to marriage and parenthood, Marc Prey’s short stories, about the life he shares with his wife and two children, are presented from a man’s perspective with great style and a lot of humor. The book is accompanied by amazing graphics, great cover, and a beautiful writing style. From the engaging title to the suitable chapter graphics, this book has everything that it takes to keep a reader interested until the end.
Marc Prey does a fantastic job with his first book. When It Comes to Spooning, I'm a Fork is written from a man’s point of view but aimed at readers of all sexes. This fantastic book uses humor to teach us a lifetime lesson: men struggle, men have feelings and opinions; men care as much or even more than women about all the things that make a marriage. Women reading this will find it funny and true, and they will also be surprised by the similarities that the two sexes share. It’s a general belief that men and women are separated by a sea of differences, but Marc Prey sheds some light on the matter with the help of his unique sense of humor. All in all, this debut book does an excellent job in keeping us entertained and wanting more. It is a wonderful start for Marc Prey, and I can only hope that he has other books coming for his readers.
