Why Animals Love Santa (Join Santa on his Adventures in the Forest) by Santa, Edit Engel, and Alan McBrearty is a children’s adventure story that would appeal most to young children and parents who celebrate Christmas. This book is filled with Santa’s forest adventures and the animals he meets in the forest during his daily exercise walk in the forest in preparation for delivering the Christmas presents to children around the world. Santa always has a kind word and a helpful hand for any animal in need of help. Are you ready to follow Santa on his forest adventures?
The first thing I noticed about this book that I really liked was that Santa is listed as an author. I just thought this was really something a lot of children would like as they would feel closer to Santa when reading this book. The book itself might not be that long, yet each page is filled with unique Santa stories unlike any Santa story I have ever seen or read before. It was nice to have a story about Santa that did not take place at Christmas as that fact automatically sets these stories apart from any other Christmas book. The stories are not just sweet, but also inspirational as they have the power to inspire children to show kindness towards others. Overall, I loved this book and I hope paperback copies are available when I have children as I would love to share this book with them.
