As the name suggests, You Won't Believe What Fish Can Do! is a book about fish. Author Bruce Miller offers some fascinating tidbits and stories about fish that will truly leave young readers speechless. Noah is an eleven-year-old who loves listening to his grandfather talk about different kinds of fish while they fish by a lake. Fishing lines get tangled when three young friends try their luck at a pond. Did you know the mudskipper fish walks on land? Or the fact that the barreleye fish has a see-through head? Meanwhile, the leafy seadragon looks like a floating plant. There are many fish that have no problem identifying members of their own group. There are also fish with superpowers. Additionally, you will learn some unusual as well as simple fish facts.
If you want your kids to be interested in one of the most important wildlife species on this planet, You Won't Believe What Fish Can Do! is just the book for you. This book features facts about some of the most incredible fish in the world. I'll be honest, I had no idea there are fish that have a flashlight over their head. And you will discover many more extraordinary fish in this book. I also liked how Bruce Miller wrote the book in a way that children will find not only educational but fun. The illustrations are a bonus. They will certainly spark curiosity among young readers and fill their minds with wonder and awe. All in all, this is a great children's book.
