The first years of a child are the stage where all knowledge is a base for later learning. It is best to teach them new things with games so that they feel motivated, and 123 Think... Feel and Learn! Count and Trace Numbers will make writing the numbers as fun as singing a song. To begin with, the book explains the shape of the strokes. Each following page shows one of the numbers from 0 to 10, from several perspectives. The strokes are inside large numbers. Next to these numbers is a picture of a hand pointing fingers at quantity, as an aid to recognition. Some images represent the number visually and the rhymes provide encouragement. In this way, author Elaine Reyes-Aranda and artist Jasmin Martinez reinforce the information so that children learn in a motor and visual way.

Using suitable games, children will find the motivation they need to learn mathematics. They can start by sharing 123 Think... Feel and Learn! with its joyful rhymes. It is an opportunity for little ones to stimulate their fine motor skills, and the more they play and practice, the better. I liked this book for all the content it provides in such a down-to-earth manner. Elaine Reyes-Aranda and Jasmin Martinez have combined to share a method for children to develop critical thinking and an abstract mind. Learning to write the numbers will give children the precision of fine movement and give them the confidence to perform more daily activities, thus gaining the ability to achieve more.
