If you pick this book up expecting the traditional explanation for the symbolism of the American flag, you will be pleasantly surprised. Instead of the usual words, Dain Taylor explains the meaning of the American flag in terms of its Christian roots. In A Celebration of the American Flag, Dain shares the Christian faith and the freedom to worship that is so dear to the heart of the United States. Unfortunately, the forces of evil are trying to curtail this freedom, so we must be vigilant. Achieving our freedom cost many lives. Wars to maintain our liberty saw the ultimate sacrifice by many. American freedom gives us the right and responsibility to live godly lives. Allow the love of God to show through our lifestyle.
In A Celebration of the American Flag, Dain Taylor goes beyond the traditional symbolism of the American flag and shows its connection to Christianity. Help your children realize that freedom of religion carries the great responsibility to worship God openly. Teach your children that attending church is not a chore but a privilege that should be consistently enjoyed. Our freedom, represented by the flag, should include living a godly life and showing the love of God to others. Use this book to teach your children how to share the gospel. Dain learned the Christian symbolism of the American flag from a Taekwondo grandmaster. Dain is an educator. He desires to bring honor and glory to God through his words. Enjoy this book with your children and share the symbolism with others.
