They kidnap his love interest, Marie Brown, to force him to produce it. Desperate to save Marie, Koufax hatches a plan. He also teams up with his friend, Chief Detective Ferris. Between following Koufax as he navigated a corporate takeover at the Cincinnati Bugle, watching him pursue his love for Marie, and taking heat from the syndicate over the list, I could not tell what was coming next and kept turning the pages.
