A.I. and the Metawisdom Civilization by Tran The Cong follows Michelle Daryna, who awakens from hibernation in Edenearth City 213 under the supervision of nurse Phuong Linh and the AI Lyra. Michelle completes rigorous assessments to regain physical, cognitive, and perceptual control, activating her personal AI assistant, Elly. She explores the Recovery Zone, connects with her absent family through letters and artifacts, and begins the Enwisdomed Citizen Training Program under Linh’s guidance. Michelle meets Professor Harriet and Dr. Noah Howard to learn about Reincarnation, Liberation technology, and civilization structures. She travels to Athenlighten to study advanced techniques with Professor Aria Brightwell, then visits Master Minh Dinh’s Zen Monastery to understand the origins of Edenearth and its global civilization. Michelle’s main journey is her reawakening, assimilation of knowledge, and preparation to participate in guiding the future of her civilization.
Tran The Cong’s A.I. and the Metawisdom Civilization is a fantastically conceptualized journey into a meticulously imagined future where human potential and AI converge to form a society of remarkable intelligence and harmony. From Phuong Linh’s careful monitoring of the Recovery Zone to Michelle Daryna’s reawakening and rapid assimilation into Edenearth City 213, every moment brims with discovery and anticipation. The book showcases an astonishingly detailed world in which citizens develop through structured programs. I thought the use of Metawisdom to illustrate a civilization where knowledge, awareness, and skill are cultivated was far more sophisticated than other speculative novels along the same vein. The depictions are almost cinematic, and the global cities, futuristic travel, and human-AI collaborations are fantastic. Overall, this is a triumph of imagination and visionary worldbuilding, and an immersive, intelligent read. Very highly recommended.
