A Puppy's Tale is a heartfelt children's picture book written by Grant Merritt, with illustrations by Elena Ciolacu. The story follows a lonely, fluffy dog named Achilles, who yearns for love and a place to call home. One day, he meets Evan, a young boy who is eager to befriend him. The two instantly connect and embark on many adventures together. They enjoy summer breaks, dress up for Halloween, go trick-or-treating, and chase squirrels. As time passes, Achilles and Evan grow older together. However, Achilles becomes frail and can no longer run as fast or jump onto the bed like he used to. Despite these changes, they continue to create wonderful memories, watching movies and sitting together on the floor. Their love transcends hellos and goodbyes, and the memories they share remain forever in their hearts.
