The Norman invasion shattered the world of Alfled Godwineson. Her three brothers were dead and her father lay dying. She promised him that she would protect their land. She cut her hair and pretended to be her deceased twin brother. The Normans won the battle and plundered the estates. Rold Le Blond’s orders were to take the Godwineson estate as his own. When Rolf discovered Alfled was a female he was enchanted with her. He was pledged to Anne St. Clair but found he was falling in love with Alfled. A Norman and a Saxon should never be entwined, but they could not control their hearts.

A Saxon Tapestry is filled with suspense, romance, intrigue and jealousy. This book is a delightful read. It quickly captivated me. There are lots of twists and turns to keep the reader eagerly turning pages. This is a romance you will not want to miss.
