A Very Wide River written by Asa Childress, and illustrated by Alland Wijaya, is a delightful children's picture book about friendship, compassion, and the importance of helping others. Amelia loves her life and enjoys spending time outside every day. She is a happy child and enjoys caring for her apple tree, talking to friends, and caring for others. Yet, one day, Amelia realizes there is a problem, one she'll need some help to resolve. Can her friends help her solve the problem? You'll have to read the book to find out!
Enhanced with charming illustrations and exciting surprises, A Very Wide River by Asa Childress is a pleasure to read. Alland Wijaya's colorful artwork brings this story to life.
