A Visit with Cooper by Debbie Gonzalez is an adorable picture book for young children. Cooper the dog is excitedly waiting at the door for the arrival of his Abuela (grandmother). Cooper hears voices outside and then they have arrived. Abuela enters the house and gives Cooper the biggest cuddle of all time. Cooper and his Abuela always enjoy their time together, and this visit is no different. They sing, dance, and even go for a stroll in the park. Join Cooper and his sweet Abuela as they get up to even more fun and adventurous activities.

A Visit with Cooper by Debbie Gonzalez was a fun book to read. Children are going to love and learn from this touching story of a grandmother and a dog. The bond between the two is endearing, and so are the illustrations by the talented Kate Fallahee, as they make the story that much more enjoyable. As well as providing entertainment, I feel the book will also educate young readers on how important family is, especially grandparents, whether it be between humans or canines. The writing flows nicely and even includes Spanish, which will surely help children pick up a few new words. I know I did. If you are looking for your child's next boredom breaker, or simply wish to read them a new book, then this could be the one for you. Good luck with any future creations, Debbie, I hope to read them. Hopefully, we'll see another Cooper book.
