Adventures of the Moment: Collector’s Edition is a work of fiction by Golden November, which delivers another slice of fast-paced dialogue-only storytelling in the author’s signature style. In this story, we meet our central character, Gannon, who is seeking new adventures and more spontaneity in his life. So when he meets Electra quite by chance at the start of his proposed adventure, the two pair up and go along for the ride together. What begins as a mystery trip into the unknown takes them to places they could never have imagined and bonds them together over unbelievable experiences that have to be read to be fully appreciated.
Having encountered the unique style of Golden November before, I knew this time that I would get the vivid image-driven scene-setting on every page of the manuscript, laying out exotic vistas and interesting places as the dialogue begins to build. The novel makes for some very fast reading initially as Gannon takes the lead, and it doesn’t take long to build up a picture of his enigmatic personality based on the clever clues we get from his dialogue. Electra’s alluring presence and keenness are another attractive quality of the book, and it’s an adventure that will surely have readers laughing out loud one moment and shocked the next for all the twists and turns it delivers. Overall, I would definitely recommend Adventures of the Moment: Collector’s Edition to those already familiar with November. For those who have yet to meet this author, you can be assured of an easy-to-access adventure that is truly unique.
