Author Biography

Jorge G.Solana, a scholar, writer, and former diplomat, has traveled broadly, gathering information for his writings. An avid visitor to the ancient Maya and various other world-wide archaeological sites, the author’s knowledge of the lands, its peoples, cultures, and traditions is reflected in the rich and detailed narrative of his stories. During his extended tenure as Head Consular Officer abroad, Mr. G.Solana was no stranger to the entrails of national interests and realpolitiks, experiences that served him well, as they allowed him to infuse Angelicus’ plotlines with the essential firsthand knowledge that only great storytelling can achieve.

Angelicus – The Fall of Zarathustra by Jorge G. Solana is a riveting tale that gives a fascinating glimpse into the author's version of events that could have led to the expulsion of Luzbel (Satan) from heaven. Luzbel is mortified when God's new creation, humans, are placed above angels in God's eyes, and the angels are instructed to be subservient to them. So starts Luzbel's plans for rebellion, and he goes about gaining support as he plots with other angels who would be more than happy to break the chains they feel God has shackled them with. With the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael and their legions on one side, and Luzbel, Azazel, Beelzebub, and their legions on the other side, it is a war in heaven of epic proportions. The early humans of that time could only stare in wonder at the flashes in heaven as the two sides collide. In the end, Luzbel is defeated by Archangel Michael, who casts him and his followers into Hell. But all is not well as a shattering of the portal allows some of the angels to escape being cast into Hell. They are scattered across time, where they go from angels to demons as they continue to carry out their master's orders to undermine God in the eyes of humans and make them suffer.

Angelicus – The Fall of Zarathustra by Jorge G. Solana is a fast paced nail biter that I really enjoyed. Though the outcome of the war in heaven was pretty much a given, the battles fought between the two sides actually had me wondering if good truly was going to triumph. Author Jorge G. Solana did a wonderful job painting the pictures of these battles in vivid detail and, in fact, his character building of all the angels was very good. His world (and heaven) building was excellent, and the plot of this entire story so well told that I'm rather convinced that his version could well be exactly how it all went down! He even lays out how Satan came about having cloven feet. But the author didn't just stop with the heavenly war. After the portal to Hell was shattered and the outcast angels were scattered through time, the author tells us that angels were sent from heaven to watch over humans now that Satan's demons are on the loose. But these angels were not happy about having to stay on Earth so long and ended up in their own rebellion. They take human wives, and the children they produce give us the Nephilim (the giants of old). All in all, the author rather neatly tied up the loose ends on these subjects that aren't fully explained in the Bible.

Angelicus: The Fall of Zarathustra by Jorge G. Solana reminds us that the struggle between good and evil is real and it comes to life within the pages of this book with a twist. We see how the newly discovered ancient Maya numerology incorporates and intertwines with the book of Revelation and real future astronomical events. Follow the stories through a heroic poem to modern times. We will visit the Middle East, Pakistan and Iran. We will go to Manhattan and Rome, all of these places visited within the pages of one book. One book full of several stories all reminding us of the struggle between good and evil.

I do not often read about the end of days and Apocalypse simply because most of what is out there is the same story rehashed over in different ways. With that said, the description of Angelicus: The Fall of Zarathustra by Jorge G. Solana got my attention and it did not disappoint. I am so happy to have read this book. It goes into so much detail and gives different outlooks and stories on the battle of good and evil. The story telling done within the pages of this book will open your eyes and make you take a different look at this particular sub genre. You can tell that Jorge knows how to tell a story and, from first page to last page through every story, I found myself gripped by and invested in every word. If you want to delve deep into theories and signs of the end of the world, what prophecy is laid before us, I recommend this as a read for you.

Angelicus: The Fall of Zarathustra by author Jorge G. Solana is three stories interwoven into one. This tale began in Heaven where Satan is stirring up trouble. He approaches Michael, suggesting a rebellion of all the angels. He presents an accusation against God, stating that since humans had been created God had given more work to the angels without giving them more compensation. He continued with the complaint that angels had been asked to serve man. Satan proposes he become Ha-Satan, making himself God. His accusations and complaints bring about a heavenly war in which he is defeated.

The other stories in this book take place in the contemporary world right before the Mayan calendar came to an end. While the world did not end with a bang, as was predicted, it ushered in a change. The change is New Age-ish where Indigo and Crystal aura individuals are the new spiritual leaders. However, Satan is determined not to let that happen.

This is a tale of Good vs Evil. It is obvious that the author spent many hours in research, preparing to pen this book. I was particularly interested in the downfall of Satan. Author Jorge G. Solana did an excellent job of depicting Satan’s personality and deceitfulness. This is a unique book in that the author has taken three stores and intertwined them to create one story. He successfully makes them work together. This tale falls into the sci fi/fantasy genre and moves along at a fast pace.
