Author Biography

Christina Economidou Pieridou is a dietitian. She has been practicing dietetics since 2000 and is passionate about sharing her knowledge on health and nutrition with the world. In 2012 she wrote her first book which was published by a famous Greek publishing company titled "How to Become the Dietitian of yourself" and sold thousands of copies. In December 2016 Christina publishes her new book "Anticancer - The Preventive Power of Food". After a close family member fought a battle with cancer, Christina started a very deep research on diet and cancer. She became amazed by the large volume of research proving the preventive power of a large number of foods, herbs and natural substances and by the new scientific discoveries showing that we have the power to change the expression of our genes and actually switch off our cancer genes with diet and lifestyle changes! Her new book "Anticancer - The Preventive Power of Food" is a practical nutrition guide that everyone must read!
