Anything For You is the 23rd book in The Friessens series by Lorhainne Eckhart. Cat and Xander have been happily living together for years, they are very much in love and both of them know their future is together. For Xander, asking Cat to marry him is the obvious next step in their lives. Yes, she is opinionated and she has a strong head on her shoulders, but these are all the things that he loves about her. He was expecting to have issues with her father, Neil, but he had no idea that Cat would be the one to oppose the marriage. She loves him with all her heart, but she thinks that marriage would be the end of them. She doesn’t believe in marriage and wholeheartedly believes that they are just fine as they are. But Xander wants to call her his wife and show the world that they belong to each other. How can he make her realize that marriage will only increase their love?
This was such a beautifully emotional yet sassy story to read. Cat and Xander are such a cool couple, they both understand each other, they know what the other wants and they want to give to each other, regardless of what they want for themselves. Xander knows that Cat is scared of the future and what marriage would do to them. He works hard to prove to her that marriage would be just another beautiful step in their future where they can be together forever. The connection between these two is amazing and the way they talk to each other shows how much they mean to each other. I loved this brief look into their lives. Very entertaining and sweet!
