A bond between a mother and her newborn baby is something truly special, unlike any other relationship in the world. Hop on for a story about a mother and her baby in this illustrated picture book by Jodi Dee. Narrated in rhyming verse, Baby Baby Baby follows a mother and her baby traveling in a car when the baby begins to cry. Without wasting time, the mother checks the diaper, only to realize it's dry. Still, the baby keeps crying, and soon, the mother chooses another tactic by putting a mirror in front of the baby. But it's in vain, as the baby just refuses to stop. And yet the mother keeps trying, and at long last, she stumbles upon the perfect solution to stop her baby's crying.

Baby Baby Baby is a wholesome little book for toddlers and mothers alike. Mothers raising young kids can use these verses as the perfect lullaby to get their children to sleep. Jodi Dee finds a way to convey how mothers feel for their newborn children to perfection and brings them to life in the pages of this wonderful picture book. Co-illustrator Sogand Seydjoo has a keen eye for detail, making the reading experience all the more immersive. The rhyming verses are easy to sing and stay in your mind long after reading the book. I certainly enjoyed Baby Baby Baby, and if you have children below the age of three, this is the book you should go for!

Jodi Dee's Baby Baby Baby: In the Car is a beautifully illustrated and adorable board book that shows us how the universal language of crying by babies can be a little confusing or challenging, and it's up to the mother (or parent) to determine what the child needs. As the baby starts to cry while traveling with mommy in the car, the young mom immediately notices and stops driving. She then patiently tries to look over everything, from checking the need for a diaper change or if the baby wants a toy, blanket, or milk. Yet the baby continues to cry after trying them all. Puzzled, Mom then decides to sing a lullaby. To her relief, the baby stops crying and calms down, listening to her voice, until the child closes its eyes to sleep.

Interpreting a child's crying can almost be like a litmus test for one's parenting skill, as Jodi Dee's Baby Baby Baby: In the Car shows us. As the baby fully develops inside the womb, what it first hears or even feels through vibrations is the voice of its mother or, in many cases, both parents. No wonder hearing a soothing melody or song from a familiar voice can have a calming effect that can hush a child's cry and lull them to sleep. Fathers need not worry; the baby will connect and respond as long as the child is fully attuned to his voice. The use of simple rhyming language and visually attractive pictures co-illustrated by Sogand Sedjoo feature a diverse portrayal of mommies experiencing very similar dynamics in the relationship between parent and child. This makes the book highly recommended for all parents, caregivers, and kids. Seeing and knowing how this relationship works can give us better understanding, patience, and the resolve to continue caring for and loving each other despite child-rearing challenges.

Baby Baby Baby: In the Car by Jodi Dee is a children’s picture book that highlights the struggles a mom faces every day with a baby. When Mommy takes her children for a car ride, she can’t figure out what’s wrong when her baby starts crying. She tries everything she can think of until she finally hits on the one thing that works: sending her baby into a peaceful sleep. Hers is the first voice her baby heard, creating a deep, unbreakable connection, and this verse-style book shows how that connection works, no matter what happens.

Baby Baby Baby by Jodie Dee is a wonderfully illustrated poetic book written in verse about a ride in the car with Mom and her perseverance in working out why her baby is crying. The illustrations bring the story to life and perfectly match the verse. This lovely story testifies to the bond between a mother and baby and the fact that Mom will do whatever it takes to find out what’s wrong and make her baby happy. When she sings to her baby, it works. Mom's voice is the sound of comfort for the baby. This is a simple, short story, but with a powerful message about that bond; it perfectly illustrates why the bond is so strong and the lengths a mother will go to for her child. Highly recommended reading as a storybook for kids and one for moms to keep on hand, too.
