Kelly is your typical blonde bombshell news anchor struggling to make it to the big time. Not that Atlanta's number two news station isn't big time, it is just not big enough. So when a chance to get some real reporting done comes around she jumps at the chance for a change of pace. What happens during that short few hours, however, changes the course of her life forever as shootings, death and a mystery man intent on saving her life all enter the picture. There is something strange going on in Atlanta but it isn't just happening there. These people are operating all over the map and Kelly may suddenly be in more danger than she ever realized. She is definitely going to need her mystery man to watch out for her now.

She may be just another news anchor but she is definitely something more than that as well. Kelly is a relatable character that the author was able to turn into an interesting person and not just another ditzy reporter girl who finds the love of her life while being helpless and afraid. Kelly is willing to fight for herself and she is not going to let anyone stop her from doing what she wants to do. That includes Deke (her mystery man) and anyone else who might chance to get in her way.

The plot of this story is interesting and you definitely won't see any of it coming. The crimes all twist and turn and when you finally get to the end you'll definitely be surprised.
