It endeavors to enhance our lives so that more happiness, peace, confidence, or desires are fulfilled. The life wisdom is given in 18 threads. First, there are simple threads, such as “Always keep learning” and “Start where you are, but see the goal.” Then, there are the more profound threads, such as “Don’t be a football of situations and circumstances” and “Become a successful traveler of life.” Then, there are threads related to love, such as “The answer to love is to love more” and “Even the hardest rocks melt with love.” Finally, at the end of each thread, there is an extremely useful section giving straightforward, practical suggestions on what to do with the wisdom in the thread.

Who doesn’t like having more happiness, peace, confidence, or desires fulfilled in their lives? This is where Be More by Alison Plaut is such a helpful book, using spiritual wisdom to enhance physical, practical living. I loved this approach, as I believe the solutions to many physical, practical problems lie in spirituality. I also liked the stories that make the threads' concepts come alive. It is worth a read for those looking for useful life wisdom so there can be more in their lives.
